In case you've never seen it, this is what actual democracy looks like. It's ugly, crass and vulgar. It's about as intellectual as a lynch mob. The people in the US largely delegate running the government to their elected officials so they can get back to important issues like working, paying taxes and watching American Idol. Here's what it looks like when the people express their opinion to a failed elected official (incidentally, the current congress has consistently had an approval rate of about 20%, which is the lowest EVER):

OK. So what does this mean? It does not mean conservatives are right and liberals are wrong, just like Obama's election was not an endorsement of his social welfare programs. It means that our congress is full of people who don't know who's really in charge. Pop some pop corn, sit down and enjoy the firing of the worst congress ever, live on You Tube. It will be at least as entertaining as watching Baghdad Bob report that there are no Americans in Iraq.
